Where in the world, and on what topic, would you like to read more about in the Travel Section? Do you like active and adventurous breaks or just want to chill out on a tropical island? Do you hanker after city, cultural or luxury spa breaks, or want to discover the 'undiscovered'? Whatever interests you, we'd like to know.

I'm an overseas contributor and to be honest, the reason for buying the magazine is to see what we can do on our holiday to Devon later this year. You have a fabulous magazine and I'm astounded by the price of property in Devon. We've numerous friends in Lympstone and the reason for our trip is to catch up with everybody as we haven'y been to Devon for around 15 years. Listen to BBC Devon radio on the computer whilst compiling this email. Very impressed with Judi Spiers.
However, if you want to consider doing an article on a non-touristy location in Sydney, then where we live on the Southern outskirts on Sydney is a likely spot. We live in the Shire and being biased, we have the best beaches (Wanda, Elouera, North Cronulla and South Cronulla), a fantastic National Park with endless tracks for bushwalking, running and mountain bike riding, good shopping and not too bad a public transport system. Tourists just don't come here, they all congregate around the centre of Sydney and go over the bridge or catch the ferry to Manly. The best time to visit is probably late March, April and early May. Today the weather has been perfect. Thankfully, some rain is forecast for later this week but it is normally quite coastal. Don't, I repeat, don't encourage anyone to come to Sydney in January or February, the humidity is terrible and you'll all end up with sweat rashes.

It's good to know Devon Life is held in such high regard down under and, yes, it is a fabulous magazine - and Devon a great county, with plenty to do, sophisticated places to eat, and stunning scenery. So have a great holiday when you visit later this year... and continue spreading the word about glorious Devon and it's great county magazine!
I've made a note of your comments about the Shire and hopefully, one day, I'll get there to explore the area myself - sounds good. Many thanks.
Regards
Linda
