19/12/2006, 9:41 AM aborigine Joined on 19/12/2006 Posts 25 Blackawton Primary School Congratulations to this little school which has just achieved the Soil Association's 'Best School Dinner in the Country' award of £2,500! I understand that the suppliers they use are all organic and that they also receive seasonal contributions from parents' own gardens and allotments. Having just enjoyed a commuinity lunch at the school (Dec 14th), which was prepared for 80 adults after the regular school lunch for the 80 children, I must say that the kitchen staff are an inspiration. Well done! I wonder how they will spend the money. I have a suggestion: perhaps they could set up a village bakery at the school and deliver bread locally.    Report
